Founded by Dr. Patricia Ryan-Allen and Lian Palmer, combining experience in social care, business management, education, and clinical nursing, Viking Care began in 2016 as a small family-run business providing bespoke care services to those in need in Thanet and Kent.
Our property, Ashmount, is a large detached home with plenty of character and rooms, a flourishing garden for activities, and is only a short walk from a variety of shops, cafés, parks, and Margate’s iconic beach featuring Dreamland!

We are proudly registered with ASDAN, an awarding organisation whose curriculum programmes and qualifications help young people develop knowledge and skills for learning, work and life.
We provide bespoke life care pathway services to all, and are dedicated to caring for those with Autism and Learning Disabilities.
Our enthusiastic and experienced team are NVQ trained with British Sign Language staff available. Our skilled staff are trained in Positive Behavioural Support, including physical interventions and management of challenging behaviour by our in-house trainer utilising pragmatic and highly effective Team Teach methodology.
An array of services are available which are tailored to suit your unique requirements, including education, skills for life, and activities of daily living, personal care, and behavioural support.
